If you are thinking about spending the 4th of July weekend in the Hocking Hills, don’t think that you have to miss the festivities – or even the fireworks!
To start off the weekend, you might want to check out Country Music Jubilee at Concert in the Park in Logan on Friday, July 2. This grand old opry-style show is sure to be entertaining and starts at 7pm in Worthington Park in Logan. Bring your lawn chair!
If you would like to do some shopping, stop by the Hocking Hills Flee Market on Saturday. Venders have their wares on display from 9am – 5pm and include homemade crafts, jewelry, toys, food, and much more.The Hocking Hills Farmers Market in Logan is also open on Saturday from 9am – noon and features about every fruit or vegetable that can grow in Ohio along with jellies, baked goods, plants, syrup, and more!
And if you don’t want to miss out on the fireworks, Thunder in the Valley will take place in Nelsonville on July 4th at 10pm. This Fireworks Spectacular will take place on the Hocking College campus and can be view from the campus or from the city of Nelsonville. The show is choreographed to music and set against the beauty of the Hocking Hills.
