One of our goals here at the Inn is to continue to keep our facility updated and modern yet immersed in the simplicity of the surroundings. For this reason, we still update and renovate our facility to make the environment even more serene. To keep this placid atmosphere we are very aware of the effect that our operation has on the environment, as this is important to us. Currently at the Inn, we are in the process of a variety of renovation projects that you can check out the next time you are with us!
One of our larger projects at the moment is the renovation of our Strong Wolf Cabin. We have still kept the rugged feel to our most secluded cabin. The facelift included a new kitchen, flooring, whirlpool tub, carpeted loft bedroom, as well as a separate bathroom and shower was added. Wither you have stayed in this cabin before or not, it is well worth the visit!
As we talked about in our blog last week, Ellen and Terry’s son Ben has been working on a new arrangement for the flowerbed landscape out front of the Inn rooms. Ben has incorporated some natural stone work in his design pictured here.
We are also proud to announce that the new deck at the spa is finished! Terry, Steve & Ben worked hard to get the deck done before the busy fall season. Jen and Randy decorated it with items from the gift shop. Kellie & Scott also gave the space a seasonal feel with pumpkins, gourds and mums. We have included a variety of new tables and chairs for guests to relax prior and following their appointments.
With our array of greenery and our onsite vegetable garden we have committed to a composting program. Employees in the kitchen have begun composting left over materials in our new “Green Stream” bin. Composting is not only environmentally friendly it is a great way to collect free fertilizer for your plants!
