It’s not too early to start making plans for New Year’s Eve and at the Inn we have the perfect option for those who want to ring in the New Year in the quiet and charm of the Hocking Hills.

Delectable entrees include Roasted Filet Mignon  with Champagne Sauce or Broiled & Blackened Lobster Tail with Drawn Butter or Grilled Pork Chop Stuffed with Pear & Golden Raisin Compote & Thyme Reduction or Pan Seared Halibut with Red Onion Confit and Beurre Blanc. Ohio’s Most Unique Music Festival!

Join us in the Hocking Hills June 14-16 for ‘Ohio’s Most Unique Music Festival’!

Every year the Washboard Festival in Logan, Ohio brings thousands of people to celebrate the ‘enduring role the washboard has had on music styles from jazz to jug band to zydeco.’ Featuring more than 40 musical acts, as well as arts and crafts, great food, free tours of the Columbus Washboard Company, antique tractors and hit’n miss engines, a parade, and more, this festival is sure to have something for everyone! Much of the entertainment and activities are free, including free kids rides, making for a perfect family outing.

To make the weekend even more festive and relaxing, the Inn is offering a special PickInn, StrummInn, and HummInn package. Spend Friday and Saturday nights, June 15 & 16, in an inn room overlooking the gardens. Enjoy a cheese and fruit plate upon arrival and join us in our award-winning restaurant for a four-course meal. Experience the stars as they can only be seen in the Hocking Hills while sitting around our campfire before bed. Stop in the restaurant for a full country breakfast each morning before heading out to the festivities.

Inn SPIRITS In The Hocking Hills

March 9 we welcomed guests for our first Inn SPIRITS Dinner, and it was a great success!

Middle West Spirits‘ unique OYO Whiskey and Vodkas were the featured spirits, and owners Brady Kohya and Ryan Lang joined Innkeepers Ellen and Terry to host the evening.

Chef Anthony’s delicious dinner of Drunken Shrimp Cocktail with OYO Vodka, Bibb Greens with Fresh Herbs & OYO Whiskey Sour Vinaigrette, Grilled Cowboy Steak with OYO Whiskey Demi, Pan Seared Sea Bass with Lavender OYO Honey Vanilla Bean Vodka Cream Sauce, and Lemon Thyme Cake with Lemon OYO Honey Vanilla Bean Vodka Syrup excellently showcased each of the OYO spirits. A fabulous time was had by all!

Inn SPIRITS Dinner in the Hocking Hills

Join us on March 9 for our first Inn SPIRITS Dinner!

Middle West Spirits owners Brady Konya and Ryan Lang will join Chef Anthony and Innkeepers Terry & Ellen to feature Middle West Spirits unique OYO Whiskey and Vodkas.

The first micro-distillery in Columbus, these amazing liquors are made using the first copper still of its kind in North America. Brady and Ryan will showcase their unique spirits and discuss the making of whiskey and vodka with guests.

Chef Anthony will feature OYO Whiskey and Vodka in his delectable meal. Guests can look forward to Drunken Shrimp Cocktail with OYO Vodka, Bibb Greens with Fresh Herbs & OYO Whiskey Sour Vinaigrette, Grilled Cowboy Steak with OYO Whiskey Demi or Pan Seared Sea Bass with Lavendar OYO Honey Vanilla Bean Vodka Cream Sauce, and Lemon Thyme Cake with Lemon OYO Honey Vanilla Bean Vodka Syrup.

Start your feast with Potato-Leek Soup or Spinach Salad with Dried Cranberries, Red Onion, Toasted Hazelnuts & Roasted Pear Viniagrette. Then choose from mouth-watering entrees like Honey Glazed Ham with Pineapple Chutney, Slow Cooked Turkey Breast with Garlic-Shallot Pan Gravy, Pan Roasted Salmon with Orange-Cranberry Marmalade, or Herb Seared Pork Chop with Plum Glaze. Summer is winding down but there is still time for some fun in the Hocking Hills! On August 26 we are pleased to host the third of our very popular Wine TasteInns. These events are always a good time and this one is sure to be no exception!

Our Fall Wine TasteInn will feature the delicious and increasingly more popular wines of Spain. Look forward to great tasting, approachable wines presented by wine expert Steve Gifford and paired with Chef Anthony’s mouth-watering offerings.

Your four-course meal will include well-known Spanish foods, starting with a Spanish Omelette w/Greens & Saffron Aioli, and followed by Roasted Spaghetti Squash Soup and Boston & Radicchio Greens w/Toasted Almonds, Grapes, Goat Cheese & Sherry Vinaigrette.
