Memorial Day Weekend, May 25 & 26, the Hocking Hills will be hosting the The 2013 Duck Creek Log Jam! This musical festival of roots, bluegrass, country, rock, and folk, is a must for music lovers – and those who just like to have a good time! Located at the Duck Creek Camping and Outdoor Events Area, the festivities are just off Highway 33 and just minutes away from the Inn. The weekend will be full of some of the best in off-the-beaten-path musical entertainment, including Joshua P. James & the Paper Planes, The Moxie Strings, The Wayfarers, and one of our favorites, The Hocking River String Band – you will recognize them if you’ve been to one of our Wine & Beer Fests!
But one festival is not enough to qualify May as a month of music. Our area also hosts the very popular and ever growing Nelsonville Music Festival, May 30 – June 2. Taking place at Robbins Crossing historic village on the grounds of Hocking College, the festival is described as one of the best in the region and one of the most unique in the country. Cramming as much music as possible into 4 days of festivities, bands will include Wilco, John Prine, Wild Belle, and Olentangy John, just to name a few.
Join us for all of the musical fun and festivities this May! Skip the tents and the cold ground, and spend the night in comfort in one of our cottages or cabins. Enjoy a hearty and delicious breakfast in our award-winning restaurant, before heading back for more amazing music and great times! Rock and Roll, baby, in the Hocking Hills!
