Gardening at the Inn!

May 3rd, 2012 by Innkeeper, Inn & Spa At Cedar Falls

For those of you who would like to pick the brain of the Inn’s gardener, or who just enjoy digging in the dirt and making things grow, we invite you to join our own Inn gardener extraordinaire, Kellie, as she plants the Inn’s vegetable garden this spring.

On May 29 at 10am, Kellie will head out to plant many of the herbs and vegetables that our restaurant will use throughout the year. Guests are invited to join her, and in return for the manual labor, will be treated to lunch made by Chef Anthony.

This event is free and if it is raining significantly on May 29, the event will be rescheduled for May 31.

Spend some time in the beautiful Hocking Hills this spring and summer – there’s something for everyone! Welcome, and Enjoy!

Rockmill Brewery’s New Cask Aged Tripel

November 3rd, 2011 by Innkeeper, Inn & Spa At Cedar Falls

At the Inn we are very proud to serve Rockmill Brewery’s Belgian-style organic farmhouse ales!

Locally owned, Rockmill’s Witbier, Saison, Dubbel, and Tripel brews are fast becoming wild successes and are very popular with many of our guests. Brewed using their farm’s water that is identical in minerality to the water found in the famed Wallonia region of Belgium, and combined with all organic yeast, hops, and malt, these beers are delicious and truly unique.

Which is why the Inn is very excited to be carrying Rockmill’s latest creation! The Cask Aged Tripel is a golden ale aged in whiskey barrels and is already being touted as another success for the small brewery.

Only a limited number of cases were produced of this exceptional brew and the Inn was very excited to obtain a few bottles for our guests! Paired with Chef Anthony’s gourmet cuisine will only enhance the flavors of this delicious beer and will make for a spectacular dinner experience.

The bottles will be available starting this weekend so stop by to get your bottles before we run out! You won’t regret it!

See you in the beautiful Hocking Hills this weekend for delicious food and fabulous beer! Welcome, and Enjoy!
