Lake Logan
Lake Logan in Hocking Hills State Park covers 400 acres. The lake is two miles long. It was built in 1955 for recreational purposes and now attracts outdoors lovers for year-round activities.
Guests enjoy swimming at the 527-foot public swimming beach is located on the north shore of the lake on Lake Logan Road (C.R. 3). Lake Logan Road is off 664S and directly across the entrance to the Hocking Hills Visitors Center.
A fisherman’s paradise, Lake Logan has everything from pan fish to the heavyweights. Records and near-records lurk in the depths of Lake Logan. Fish away and reel in bluegill, crappie, bass, walleye and catfish.
Boats with motors up to 10 horsepower are permitted on the lake. A speed limit of 10 mph is enforced. Canoes and paddle boats can be rented at the park office
