Discover the Best Glamping in Ohio at the Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls
Yurts
If you’ve never been glamping before, you may be wondering, “What’s a yurt?” Yurts are circular shelters that were used for centuries by Central Asian nomads. Our beautiful, Pacific-style yurts in Ohio have exposed wood rafters that lead upward into the central dome creating an open, spacious feeling with an abundance of natural light.
Each of our 20-foot diameter yurts features a king-size bed or two twin beds, a full bathroom with a tiled shower, reading rockers, a gas log stove, microwave/under-counter refrigerator, a private deck, and more. Plus, they are heated and air-conditioned for year-round use!
Geodomes
Our geodomes are the newest additions to the property. These geodesic domes feature more than 706 square feet of interior space (30’ diameter) and ceilings that tower 14 feet at the highest point. This accommodation type boasts a contemporary yet comfortable feel.
These geodomes have one king-size bed, a small dining table and chairs, a couch, a coffee table that faces the picture window, kitchenettes with retro-style appliances, and custom bathrooms with a glass shower. You can also enjoy the beautiful sights of the forest through the expansive picture window!
Glamping Activities
Our yurts and geodomes offer privacy surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. So, you must explore what Ohio’s great outdoors has to offer during your glamping trip! The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls is surrounded on three sides by Hocking Hills State Park, so our guests can easily explore the scenic hiking trails and other attractions at the park.
Cedar Falls is our favorite hike in Hocking Hills State Park. The trail that leads to Cedar Falls is only a half-mile long and usually takes about 30 minutes to traverse. Laden with hemlock trees, this area is known for its steep rock walls, grottos, and waterfalls. Cedar Falls itself is the greatest waterfall in Hocking Hills and displays an awesome force of waterpower.
