Hocking Hills State Park is home to several scenic hiking trails. These paths wind through lush greenery, rock formations, and more en route to spectacular views. The hiking trails are suited for a wide range of skill levels, so there’s a hike for every visitor here!
2. Rock Climbing & Rappelling
There are several spots for rock climbing and rappelling in the Hocking Hills region. There are independent rock climbing opportunities at Hocking State Forest, although we only recommend this to experienced climbers, as it can be dangerous. Instead, we advise our guests to go with a tour company like Hocking Hills Rock Climbing or High Rock Adventures.
3. Kayaking & Canoeing
In the warmer months, it’s fun to spend an afternoon on the water. Our area has several natural lakes and rivers, so there are several options for kayaking or canoeing. Hocking Hills Adventures offers multiple canoe and kayak trips down the Hocking River. This outdoor activity is a must for your trip to the Hocking Hills in the summer!
