Pet-Friendly Cottages

In our Goldenrod, Trillium, and Yarrow cottages, your furry friends can relax and unwind right along with you! Our rustic, pet-friendly cottages offer unbeatable comfort and modern amenities, including a gas log stove, towel warmers, free Wi-Fi, and plush robes. Take the dog out on the private deck to for some fresh air with a great view of the woods, or enjoy a massage in the hot tub with your buddy by your side. We guarantee your pet will love their stay as much as you do!

Pet-Friendly Cabin Rentals

Situated on its own 30 acres, the Strong Wolf cabin is our most secluded and most rented cabin, and it’s pet approved! Featuring beautiful oak flooring, a carpeted loft, and a luxurious bathroom, guests can truly enjoy a day of relaxation. The whirlpool tub is perfect for soothing sore muscles after a hike, and the cabin’s gable windows allow guests (and their pups) a view of the surrounding forest. Advanced dog reservations are required, so be sure to call ahead!

Pet-Friendly Activities

Hocking Hills State Parks are full of opportunities for you and your pet to get out and have some fun. You can explore over 10 miles of scenic trails that wind through the parks and experience beautiful scenery, fresh air, and some one-on-one time with your pal. A few dog-friendly areas include:

Old Man’s Cave: This moderate, 1-mile trail features waterfalls, deep gorges, and natural rock formations. Pet owners and their four-legged friends should take care when hiking near the steep cliffs and on rocks near the waterfalls, which can be slippery.

Cedar Falls: This short trail winds through valleys and gorges and ends at the breathtaking 50-foot waterfall, formed by years of water flowing over sandstone. Make sure your pet can handle climbing about 100 steps to and from the falls.

Ash Cave Gorge: The largest recess cave in Ohio, Ash Cave has a rim that spans more than 700 feet and a 90-foot waterfall plunges into the valley below. The trail is an easy, leisurely walk for pets and owners and is perfect for admiring the beauty of Hocking Hills.
