Planting with Kellie
May 29, 10am (rain date May 31) FREE!
After a hearty breakfast, join Kellie, Inn Gardener extraordinaire, and help her plant the Inn’s vegetable garden on May 29 beginning at 10am. This is weather permitting of course (although Kellie does tend to work in a light rain) with a rain date of May 31. There is no charge for this. In exchange for your hard labor, we will treat you to lunch made by Chef Anthony.
Fresh Flower Arranging
August 9, 9:30am-12:30pm
“Beat the heat” from 9:30am-12:30pm on August 9 and join Kellie, Inn Gardener, by collecting flowers from the Inn grounds. You will use these to create a basic floral arrangement with the Inn Gardener. This will take place rain or shine. Cost is $35 which includes the class and lunch.
Harvest Art
October 2, 10am
Join us on October 2 at 10am and let your creativity flow while making ephemeral art to grace our tables. We will use dried botanicals from the grounds to celebrate the bounty of the season. Or, bring your own vase to make and take your arrangement home. Cost is $35 which includes class and lunch.
Holiday Wreath Making
December 6, 11am-2pm
Join us on December 6 to make a natural 20-24” wreath out of fresh cut evergreens and dried botanicals. If you want, bring along a special accent to personalize your creation. Kellie Hutchison, Inn gardener and nature enthusiast, will teach this fun class from 11am-2pm.
Cost is $55 which includes lunch and all supplies.
Spend the night before or after any of Kellie’s workshops and receive a 25% discount on your lodging rate.
