Each of our twelve cottages sit nestled along a peaceful lane on two wooded acres, each offering a charming escape for one or two in the heart of Hocking Hills. Each cozy retreat features a private deck perfect for savoring morning coffee and views of the surrounding wildlife. Inside, you’ll find thoughtful amenities like a gas log stove, microwave, coffee pot, and under-counter refrigerator. After a day of exploring, relax in your indoor whirlpool tub for two, and embrace a true disconnect—these cottages are blissfully free of televisions, allowing you to unwind fully in nature’s tranquility.

Our cottages are located on the main property of The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls, directly across the road and just a short walk from our on-site restaurant, Kindred Spirits, as well as the spa and gift shop. Guests can reach the main lower parking lot via a wooden stairway or drive down Cottage Lane to park in either the main or spa lot. Centrally positioned, our cottages provide easy access to all Hocking Hills attractions, with nearby trails only 5–20 minutes away by car—the closest being Cedar Falls and Rose Lake, just a half-mile away.
Larkspur is not pet friendly
Each Cottage is designed with a similar layout, so most guests choose based on personal preferences like location along the lane, pet-friendly availability, entrance accessibility with or without stairs, and whether they prefer a king-size or twin beds.

Winter Wonderland
Larkspur Cottage was everything I hoped for—cozy, quaint, and full of charm. The gas stove made the space feel warm and inviting, especially on a snowy day. The view was absolutely stunning—peaceful, serene, and blanketed in snow. I even enjoyed the company of the cottage lane deer watching over me as I came and went. My meals at Kindred Spirits were a highlight of the trip, especially breakfast. Kevin in the kitchen is so friendly, and I looked forward to chatting with him each morning. It was such a treat to be able to stroll from my cottage to the restaurant. The office staff were equally wonderful—pleasant, helpful, and always thoughtful in answering any questions I had. I’ll definitely be returning for many more visits to this delightful retreat!

Cozy, clean and comfortable
I had a wonderful time relaxing at Larkspur Cottage for the weekend. Everything was clean, well-stocked and in good repair. The cottage was cozy and comfortable, even during a below-freezing temperature weekend. The walkway to the restaurant was also much appreciated, and was well lit at night, as well as being cleared of ice and snow. I loved it and will definitely be back.

So quiet, so clean. So well done. The downed trees in the back make solid coverage for the wildlife. They literally stood within feet of the back door. So beautiful. The cottage was clean, neat and everything in its place. It was an unplug we both needed. Kindred spirits did not disappoint either. The steak was the best I had ever had. I still can taste it. She enjoyed her scallops as well. An amazing two day stay filled with hiking, driving around, getting off the beaten path and still finding our way back. Thank you.

Excellent
We enjoyed our stay at the cottage so much. The bed was super comfortable and loved having the fireplace on to cozy up the room. I requested the flowers, chocolates, cheese and wine plate for our anniversary and was not disappointed. The couples massage at the spa was wonderful as well. The restaurant on site was just a walk away from our cottage and the food was phenomenal. Thank you for having us!

Cottage was comfortable and was updated . Area was clean. Steps into unit are many and a rail could help with navigation up and down steps.

Wonderfully Relaxing
Mornings on the porch were the best way to start the day. Deer wandering by and, when we were early enough, watching a fox head out for a morning hunt. The atmosphere and service at the Inn was like family. The spa is a must. It was fun to chat with the chefs every day about what they were fixing and how they sourced ingredients. Not just at the heart of the park but away from all the hustle and bustle. A hidden gem.

A great weekend away!
The Inn and Spa at Cedar Falls is our go to get away. We know that no matter the season the accommodations will be first rate, the food and service at Kindred Spirits will be fabulous and we will leave renewed.

Nice getaway
Cottage was cozy and a great size for 2. Enjoyed the deck and the view from the deck. Area quiet and secluded as promised. Great that when I called in prior to trip, a person took the call and answered all my questions on 2 separate occasions so really appreciate the human touch. I did request that the jacuzzi be cleaned and it was taken care of right away. Food and service at Kindred spirits was excellent. Location is very close to the HH trails. Highly recommend.
