Bluebell Cottage at the Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls was a true getaway for us. The cottage was clean, bed comfortable, and amenities provided were perfect for a two night stay. Don't let the lack of a TV deter you from this rental; we were able to connect and really enjoy each other's company. The proximity to other cottages is far enough that we felt truly secluded.

I love the Inn at Cedar Falls because of the setting, of course, but I keep going back because of their attention to detail. They use heat pumps for heating/cooling and recyclable containers for take-out meals, there is an extra water filter (in many of the cottages) and I can charge my EV. And Kevin's Vegan Bowl for breakfast is the best!

This was an unexpected opportunity and exceeded our expectations. We arrived to a cottage positioned similar to our home, on a ravine, with a sizable deck that included a porch swing and 2 rocking chairs with a small table to hold our evening beverage. Nature was compelling, and the cottage itself was cozy, yet spacious enough to enjoy time alone and together. The natural light is great, while still dark enough at night to rest well. The bathroom is situated in a way for someone to be using the restroom and showering or getting ready at the sink. We were not sure what to expect with the kitchenette, and there was not much, yet we were not there to make food so it worked really well for us. The large tub with jets was a fantastic add and serves well after hiking all day and just for overall relaxation. There was a notable mildew smell at the entrance door, yet did not seem to be present in the cottage (and we are both rather sensitive to that), which was a gift. The humidifier/fan in the room was a nice add as well. There is a small gas fireplace, which would have made this even more amazing, EXCEPT...the ticking...click, click goes the timer - which we understand is likely for safety and efficiency - yet, the sound did take away from the otherwise STELLAR ambiance and atmosphere of this cottage and the overall property feeling. Overall, Bluebell Cottage is somewhere we want to be again and are already looking forward to next time!

This cabin was perfect! So clean and well maintained. It was the perfect place for a quiet and relaxing getaway. We really had no issues at all.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days at Bluebell cottage. The cottage is clean, comfortable and filled with amenities like coffee, tea, wine glasses, very comfortable bed, and plush robes. We enjoyed sitting in the rockers on the deck and listening to the birds. We hiked at Old Man's Cave and Conkle's Hollow which are both beautiful. The Kindred Spirits restaurant is exceptional. Every meal was a treat. The staff is courteous and accommodating. We will definitely be back!!

My husband and I stayed in the Bluebell Cottage for our 12th anniversary. We had a wonderful time exploring the area, including the beautiful hiking trails, the local artists, and (my personal favorite) hanging out with the goats at the Petting Zoo. I enjoyed a massage at the spa which provided much needed relaxation and attention to troublesome areas. Breakfast daily at Kindred Spirits felt like going to your best friend’s house, who just so happens to be an amazing chef. The food was delicious, the staff was extremely attentive, going so far as to make separate bowls of fruit for me each day so that my allergy was accommodated. The first two evenings we ate at local spots- Captain Ron’s Pirate Pizza and Millstone Smoked BBQ. Both places were delicious but Millstone was extremely crowded and the wait time doubled from what we were originally told. Captain Ron’s Pizza was delicious and the local entertainment was great. The hiking trails at Cedar Falls were nicely varied but a bit confusing. All in all, our time at the Inn was wonderful.
