Everything You Need to Know About the Route
The Annual Hocking Hills Winter Hike takes place during the month of January. For exact dates, visit their event webpage. This event begins with a continuous start at the park campground. When you’re ready to embark on your journey, head to the starting point. From there, small groups of participants are led on a guided hike to the Upper Falls of Old Man’s Cave. Once you reach the cave, you can hike at your own pace until you reach the final destination.
Don’t miss the halfway point at Cedar Falls! There’s always delicious food and drink to enjoy. Fill up on treats like hearty bean soup, homemade cornbread, and refreshments before you take on the latter half of this journey. Feel free to look around, explore, and take photos when you arrive at Ash Cave. Once you’ve finished exploring, there will be a shuttle ready to take you back to the start.
