This secluded hideaway shares a driveway with Ash Cave Lodge and access requires an all-wheel or 4-wheel-drive vehicle to navigate the steep gravel driveway, adding a sense of adventure to your stay.

Ash Cave Cabin is an off-property lodge in South Bloomingville, just a 12-minute drive from The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls, including Kindred Spirits, the spa and the gift shop. Access to this lodge requires a 4WD/AWD vehicle due to the steep driveway. Located in the southern portion of the Hocking Hills, Ash Cave Cabin provides convenient access to area attractions, with most trails only 10-22 minutes away by car with Ash Cave being the closest. While each accommodation sits on it's own private lot Ash Cave Cabin can be paired with Ash Cave Lodge to keep larger groups close together.

Very nice stay in a cozy cabin.
Three of us had a great time in this small, but very functional cabin. The entire cabin was very clean with nice linens, comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The cabin is small, with no closet space or storage for luggage, etc., but that didn't really effect our stay. The large front porch overlooks the beautiful woods, so we spent lots of time sitting at the picnic table enjoying the view. (We had no interest in the large hot tub on the porch, and wished we didn't have to listen to the motor/heater kicking on from time to time.) The cabin is located on a fairly steep hill. My SUV had no problem, but we did watch a couple of sedans struggling to make it up the dry hill on their way to the other cabin that sits 100 yards up. The location is perfect, just 10-15 minutes away from several popular trailheads and the Inn and Spa. We would definitely return to this cabin.

This place was great for our trip!
This place was the perfect size for two of us and our two dogs. It had everything we could have needed. The only bummer was we brought everything for a fire pit, and what we think was the fire pit couldn’t be used.

Extended4th of July Weekend
Great little cabin for a couple, enjoyed the spa, front porch, cold A/C, and general peace of the area. It was close to the hikes and attractions - Thank you! We would come back… additional thoughts - sharper knives in kitchen, change timer on spa ran too much, all in all it was good

Perfect Anniversary Getaway!
We stayed in Ash Cave Cabin to celebrate our anniversary. It was such a cute place, clean, warm and cozy. We loved sitting by the fire in the evenings and relaxing in the hot tub after a day of hiking. We would definitely stay again!

Weekend away
Ash Cave Cabin was a great get-away for an anniversary. We could bring our pet and enjoyed ourself. The hot tub was relaxing. Accommodations were neat and clean. I’ll visit the Inn and Spa at Cedar Falls facilities again and again.
