Bourbon Trail Lodge is an off-property lodge in Logan, just a 10 minute drive from Old Man's Cave, the heart of the Hocking Hills. Centrally located in the Hocking Hills, Bourbon Trail Lodge provides convenient access to area attractions with most trails only 10-17 minutes by car. Just 11 minutes from The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls, including Kindred Spirits restaurant, the spa and gift shop. The nearest town is Logan, a 12 minute drive for your last minute shopping needs.

Ideal for four
The location is phenomenal and feels very private but not overly desolate. It was so easy to get to all the iconic Hocking Hills haunts, especially Old Man's Cave. The lodge was reasonably well-appointed and very clean. We loved having 2.5 bathrooms. We also really loved the fire pit and hot tub after a long day of hiking. The night sky at this lodge was phenomenal. We even saw a couple of shooting stars! I will say, we found the beds to be a bit too hard. My husband preferred the couch. The coffee pot was great but remember to bring your own coffee creamer & sweetener, should you require some. The pans were older teflon so bring your own if that gives you pause. Fridge, freezer, towels, & AC were all great. Very responsive, courteous, and helpful staff. We wish we would have brought our dogs. Next time!

Wonderful accommodations
Well appointed and so easy to feel right at home. My only suggestion would be to add some comfortable lounge/Adirondack chairs to the deck. It was so nice to be able to sit outside but the metal chairs were hard.

A peaceful family getaway
Bourbon Trail Lodge is the perfect choice for a peaceful family getaway. This is a fully stocked cabin with something for everyone - family games, fire pit, hot tub, Smart TV, bid watching, star gazing. It’s also an easy drive to all the local hiking, shopping and dining spots. We really enjoyed our relaxing weekend.

Love this cabin!
This cabin is very clean and provides everything you need. Such a peaceful setting and close to several hiking trails. This was the second time we have stayed here and will book again next year.

This place was so clean. I have never stayed at a cabin that didn't have cobwebs on the deck until now. My husband and I had a very relaxing 2 days. We will definitely come again. I didn't want to leave.

A lovely getaway
At the last minute, snowfall kept us out of Strong Wolf Cabin, but we were offered a stay in Bourbon Lodge as a substitute. It is an immaculate two-bedroom timber lodge with a large front porch and a hot tub. The couches are comfy and the fireplace works great on a chilly night! The kitchen is relatively well-stocked although was missing a few small items (e.g. cheese grater). The beds were nice and firm and we slept well after a day of hiking. The bathroom could use a hairdryer (it's unusual not to have one in such a nice place), and we lamented the lack of the Inn's signature fluffy robes. All in all, a great stay. Perfect for two couples, and even pet friendly!!

Cozy, beautiful and warm
The Lodge is beautiful, spacious and immaculate. It was perfect and has everything you could need. The staff at the Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls is simply amazing!! We love this place and cannot wait to come back soon!

Bourbon Trail was a beautiful and comfortable lodge. We have stayed in many different accommodations at The Inn & Spa and this one was, by far, our favorite. We do have a few suggestions about how to make it even better and more comfortable. The kitchen could use a 2qt. pitcher and a dish drain. Also, the lighting would benefit from some accent lighting that is more low key. The available lighting was mostly bright. The reading lights in the bedrooms were too weak to qualify as accent lighting. Overall, a most enjoyable stay!

Excellent weekend of relaxation and hiking
The reservations were simple as was arrival and departure. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities of a full service stay, paper products, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap at all sinks, dish soap and dishwasher pods were all provided. We liked the location, the hot tub and the fire pit (but bring your own camp chairs.). Best of all our small Maltipoo was able to join us on vacation and be part of the fabulous hikes! We also ate dinner at the Inn and service was excellent and a lovely atmosphere! Food and drinks were good too.

Great stay
Great cabin and resort. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything you need for your vacation. The resort is nice. We eat at the Inn twice. The dinner was great. The appetizer, goat cheese was delicious. The entrees were delicious. The salmon special was delicious. We also had dessert. The peanut butter cake was good. We tried the spa at the resort. The message was great. Very relaxing and the atmosphere was nice. Definitely worth the visit. Overall would definitely recommend the resort.

Annual Visit to Hocking Hills
We visit annually for the Copperhead Enduro ride and this was our best rental yet. The cabin was perfect for two couples and was in a great location. The cabin was clean, had two king size beds (which isn’t easy to find) and allowed us to bring our dogs. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay!
Hocking Hills is one of my favorite places to visit and Cedar Falls Inn and Spa is my new go to place to stay. The Bourbon Trail Cabin was clean and spacious. The staff that booked my reservation was great and I had a great meal and great service at the restaurant as well. Truly beautiful place with super friendly people and right in the heart of my favorite hiking spots.

Travel using Vrbo quite often. This cabin was amazing. Had everything we needed and the quality of the furnishings was a nice surprise. If I had to criticize it would be the mattress. I’m used to memory foam toppers and I found the bed hard. But still slept very well so I really can’t complain. My little schnauzer loved the cabin too. Secluded enough that I could enjoy coffee on porch and he could sniff all around front drive. Cabin easy to find, convenient location for all the great hiking, zip lining, wineries etc.

This lodge was absolutely perfect for our getaway! Very quiet setting and the lodge was very clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. Would love to return for another visit. Short drive to Old Man’s Cave.

The perfect getaway
This lodge was perfect for a girlfriend long weekend getaway. The lodge is beautiful inside and out. Hot tub is amazing. Having your own full bathroom off the bedroom is awesome! We had the best time cooking, making jewelry, cooking together and watching movies. Such a relaxing weekend. We will be back for sure!
