Very close to downtown Logan and really good hiking but also very quiet place to stay.

The Loft on #18 is a unique and special spot to call home for a night or two. This place had everything we were looking for to enjoy a relaxing and quiet getaway. I know it may sound simple, but the Loft had city water (not well water where you can experience the smell of "rotten eggs.") The loft was meticulously clean and was beautifully decorated. Loved the walk-in shower and the super cozy robes that were provided! Enjoyed that this spot had two, very comfortable beds with high-end bedding. The large, flat screen tv was ideal for taking in a movie at night. We also had a private, roped off patio overlooking the golf course where we made s'mores on the gas burning firepit. A very nice feature about the Loft is that you walk out your entry door and across the hall is the Urban Grille restaurant! We enjoyed a couple cocktails on the outdoor public seating patio and just felt total peace as our views were of the well-maintained public golf course. The major "natural" attractions in Hocking Hills were about a 25-minute drive from the Loft. So, again, great location. The only drawback to the Loft were the stairs leading up to the loft. They were VERY loud and squeaky when you used them to go up or down. This wasn't the best situation if you needed a bathroom visit at 3 a.m. The sound was so loud it would wake up all other guests. The second drawback was that the loft did not have any kind of a cooking range. I love to cook, and it would have been a huge asset if we could have had the choice to whip up some scrambled eggs and pancakes in the morning. However, the kitchen did supply a refrigerator and microwave, which we did utilize. Overall, an excellent spot to stay (recommend using first floor bedroom to avoid stairs).

Very comfortable and clean loft. We loved the patio and having the restaurant and bar there was very convenient.

The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The loft was quit and had a restaurant located on sight. I would definitely recommend and will stay again soon.

The loft was absolutely beautiful, clean and had everything you need. The golf course was very well maintained as well. All of the staff at the restaurant and golf club were very friendly and helpful!! One suggestion, in the early evening the back deck was all sun and very hot. Adding a large umbrella for some shade would be ideal. We will definitely be back!! Thanks for an awesome stay & play!!

It’s even better in person! The loft is in a nice area about 15 minutes from the trails. There’s a view of the golf course and a restaurant in the same building.
