Inspired by designs used by Central Asian nomads as early as 600 BC, each yurt is crafted from beautiful Douglas fir, insulated with NASA-developed reflective material, and wrapped in durable architectural fabric. The wood rafters lead up to a central dome, creating an airy, open feel with starlit views at night and abundant natural light by day. These yurts are blissfully free of televisions, allowing you to unwind fully in nature’s tranquility. Our yurts sit on the main property of The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls, nestled in a wooded area just behind and a short walk from Kindred Spirits restaurant, the spa, and our gift shop. Park in a central gravel lot and follow the paved walkway for a short walk (with a small incline) to your yurt. Complimentary wagons are available for moving luggage. Centrally positioned, our yurts provide easy access to all Hocking Hills attractions, with nearby trails only 5–20 minutes away by car—the closest being Cedar Falls and Rose Lake, just a half-mile away.
Because of their unique design, our yurts are not suited for pets or children under 12.

Wonderful Getaway!
My daughter and I absolutely love every experience we have here. Our yurt stay has been an annual girls get away - we love it so much that we snuck another stay in this year. The Monarch Yurt is so cozy and we love relaxing at the spa. All the staff is wonderful and the property is so well cared for. We can't say enough great things about our yurt and this place. An absolute must try!

Intimate Luxury
We are repeat visitors to the Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls and absolutely love the experience. The yurts are intimate and comfortable and provide great star gazing opportunities on clear nights. This property is truly my happy place!

We stayed here for our 25th anniversary and we will be back the staff was amazing. The food was great at the kinder spirit. The yurt was so fun to stay in. Clean and cozy. Very nice relaxing get away. We did the old man’s cave and whispering cove awesome hiking trails was so amazing to see. Just a great experience all around we will be back

We loved everything about this! Stayed in the Monarch yurt and it is perfect size for a couple. The Kindred spirts restaurant is fantastic! I posted on Facebook and had two friends already ask for the link as they are planning on visiting. It's a 10!!

Wonderful Stay
The Yurt was very cozy, warm, and unique. We enjoyed the short walk to Kindred Spirits. The weather did not cooperate but we enjoyed the stay regardless. Will return and stay in a geodome or cottage next time!

Fabulous stay ! The only improvement would be for you to add a couple settings of real silver ware. It was my daughter’s and my first time in a yurt, and it was just wonderful ! Only other improvement, but not realistic, would be to have heated floors. The two rockers in front of the gas stove were very comfortable and cozy. Seeing deer every day close by was a Real treat ! The cleared pathways to parking lot, restaurant and spa were great. The attention to detail and service throughout were awesome !

Wonderful experience! Cozy, quiet, welcoming. Spa was awesome. Restaurant had great food and awesome staff. Maybe better signage to the yurts, it only said spa by the path. Mildly confusing. Silverware in the yurt would have been a nice addition.
