Our experience at the Moonshine cabin was excellent. Furnishings were well done and gave you the feel of living in a log cabin with modern conveniences (electric, frig, microwave, HVAC, etc.). The layout (i.e., floor plan) was great, with equal size bedrooms and in-suite bathrooms positioned on opposite sides of the cabin. Kitchen was very well equipped open to spacious dining and living areas. A large half bath was centered between the entrance to the two bedrooms, which is very convenient. Although we didn’t have any guests visit during our weekend stay, this half bath would have been ideal. Outside deck was large with a table, 4 chairs and a gas grill on the deck. Suggestion: A small dresser with drawers would be a helpful addition for longer stays (longer than 2 or 3 nights). We only stayed 2 nights, so we used the bedroom closets sparingly to hang pants and a light jacket. Other items were essentially pulled into and out of our small suitcase. However, if we had stayed longer, a small dresser would have been helpful for items that don’t hang: wallets, papers, and other items you wouldn’t want to leave in the shared kitchen/lining room areas. Overall, a wonderful cabin for two couples.

This lodge is simply beautiful! Do yourself a favor and book this lodge it's spacious and comfortable and secluded. It has everything you need to feel at home. The firm king size beds were AWESOME! We plan on being a repeat customer every year.The owners are very responsive to emails as well. I just can't wait to go back.

I can't say enough good things about our stay here. The cabin was beautiful, clean and included a full kitchen, hot tub, fire pit, and gorgeous views. At one point we lost power due to some bad weather, and Mandi went above and beyond to move us into a different cabin until the power could be restored. Next time I'm in Hocking Hills I will book this cabin again (or one of the other ones through the Inn and Spa at Cedar Falls) without a second thought!

Relax in nature with all the comforts of home. MML is set in a private serene setting, but close to so many Hocking Hills sites and amazing hiking. The cabin is very well equipped, super clean and has a huge comfortable hot tub to enjoy. Many special details were added to make your experience wonderful. The open and spacious floor plan, wood burning fireplace, large deck, and updated bathrooms make for rustic luxury. Don't hesitate to try out one of the restaurants, Urban Grill at the Golf Course or Kindred Spirits at the Inn. Both have delicious food and kind people to make your stay extra special. We will definitely return :)

We loved our stay at Moonshine Mountain Lodge. The cabin was very clean, well equipped and relaxing. We really enjoyed the quiet, private setting close to so much hiking & other attractions. We eat at Urban Grille and had a packed lunch for hiking from the Kindred Spirits. Everything was exceptional. Great detail oriented amenities. Thank you!

The cabin was a perfect getaway for us. Beautiful view of the sunset,looking at the stars from the hot tub. The inside was spacious and well kept. We had a real since of peace with nature. It was conveniently close to any store and amenities. Definitely will request the same location as we are already planning to go back by the end of summer.

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for when we decided to take a little getaway. Close enough to everything but still away from it all! The cleanliness of the cabin was top notch. The absolute most comfortable couches to snuggle into! Definitely one of the best cabins we’ve stayed in.

Very relaxing stay and excellent accommodations! The only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. Will return definitely!! The Spa was so great and money well spent.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cabin! It was the perfect retreat—relaxing and private, with plenty of things to do nearby. The cabin was very clean and provided great value for the price. Our dogs had a fantastic time too, especially enjoying the views out of the windows. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful getaway or a spot with lots of activities, this place checks all the boxes. Highly recommend!

My husband and I came to this cabin for our 12th wedding anniversary. The Cabin was beautiful and clean. The view from the top of the hill was amazing especially watching the sunset. It was so peaceful. Being able to see the stars while in the hottub was an added bonus. Great central location to all the hiking trails and restraunts. The only complaint I have was the bed was a bit uncomfortable for mine and my husbands liking.

This was a great place to stay close to Hocking Hills State Park. Very clean, property was just as advertised. We really enjoyed and would recommend!!
