Quiet weekend away
We very much enjoyed our weekend away. The staff were all super friendly. The restaurant ant was very good for breakfast. We thought dinner was good, a little on the pricey side. We loved the cabin despite the acorns sounding like gun shots, but that comes with being in the woods. Our only real Complaint was the very uncomfortable bed and pillows. The cabin was great in all Other ways. We would stay again, but not in this cabin unless there is a new mattress!

Relaxation at its finest…
The Strong Wolf cabin is highly secluded this time of year (can’t speak for when the leaves drop). You definitely need 4WD/AWD to get to it, which was recommended. The cabin itself was very well kept and quite cozy! Only issue we had was due to uncontrollable power outtage, which also shut off the water supply (pump) to the cabin. We enjoyed a massage at the spa which was amazing and breakfast and dinner at Kindred Spirits, also amazing! I look forward to staying at Cedar Falls again!

Excellent Second Stay
This is our second time staying at the Inn at Cedar Falls and our second time staying at Strong Wolf. We were so impressed with our first stay that we came back a second time. Everything is excellent from the check-in process to the check-out. Our cabin was immaculate. The little touches mean a lot such as leaving cookies for us and dog biscuits for our dog. Also, leaving a dog bowl and mat as well for our dog was a nice touch. This time we did spend more time in the house making our own dinners. The kitchen was fully stocked which made cooking very enjoyable. Dining at Kindred Spirits is a favorite for us. Last year we ate at Kindred Spirits two nights out of three. This year we had our first night's dinner at the restaurant. The food is always excellent. Our waitress this time was wonderful. She said it was her third night working at the restaurant so we were impressed. I really appreciated the extra mile she went to find out answers for us about the rooftop garden. One of our favorite things at the Inn is to have breakfast at Kindred Spirits. Because we had a dog, we ate on the patio which was great. Meagan was our waitress. She was great too. She was friendly and super helpful. She remembered us from last summer. What really impressed me was by day two, she had figured out our breakfast habits. Before we even placed our order, she came out with coffee for Brian (my partner) and tea for me. It is little things like this that really make a difference and make us feel we have a home away from home. Finally, I want to thank the staff for going to the trouble to find a dog mat that we left behind in the house. In the end, we decided it is probably not worth the mailing fee to ship it back to us, but I appreciate the time and effort the staff took to locate it and let us know about it. I am also appreciative of Mandi with whom I spoke several times about my reservation. I was concerned that I might still be sick by the time I arrived at the Inn and I appreciated Mandi's flexibility to work with me about changing my reservation. In the end, I got the all clear from the doctor that I was not contagious so I did not have to change my reservation, but I appreciate Mandi was willing to work with me and her patience as I tried to figure out if it was safe for me to travel or not. Thank you again for a lovely stay. We hope to return sometime soon.

Strong Wolf
The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls is truly amazing and exceeded any expectations we may have had prior to our first visit to this lovely bed and breakfast. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We dined at the onsite restaurant, Kindred Spirits for dinner and breakfast and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Our dinner was wonderful and very well prepared - my husband had the ribeye, and I had the scallops. Both the food and the service were excellent! Each morning, we had our complimentary breakfast which is included in the stay and enjoyed the Inn Keeper Classic, Griddle Cakes, Avocado Toast, and the Inn's Sammie. All breakfasts come with complimentary coffee, juice, and yogurt/fruit/granola appetizer. We really enjoyed our stay in Strong Wolf cabin which is a very private and secluded cabin that requires a 4x4 vehicle to access. We are really looking forward to our next stay at the Inn and will definitely be taking advantage of the onsite Spa for massages on our next trip. We can't wait to visit again!
