Each of our twelve cottages sit nestled along a peaceful lane on two wooded acres, each offering a charming escape for one or two in the heart of Hocking Hills. Each cozy retreat features a private deck perfect for savoring morning coffee and views of the surrounding wildlife. Inside, you’ll find thoughtful amenities like a gas log stove, microwave, coffee pot, and under-counter refrigerator. After a day of exploring, relax in your indoor whirlpool tub for two, and embrace a true disconnect—these cottages are blissfully free of televisions, allowing you to unwind fully in nature’s tranquility.

Our cottages are located on the main property of The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls, directly across the road and just a short walk from our on-site restaurant, Kindred Spirits, as well as the spa and gift shop. Guests can reach the main lower parking lot via a wooden stairway or drive down Cottage Lane to park in either the main or spa lot. Centrally positioned, our cottages provide easy access to all Hocking Hills attractions, with nearby trails only 5–20 minutes away by car—the closest being Cedar Falls and Rose Lake, just a half-mile away.
Each Cottage is designed with a similar layout, so most guests choose based on personal preferences like location along the lane, pet-friendly availability, entrance accessibility with or without stairs, and whether they prefer a king-size or twin beds.

Trillium cottage review
I stayed during temperatures in the teens and a massive snowfall. I really have nothing negative to say and no complaints. I was able to keep the cottage warm under these extreme conditions. I appreciate also having a broom and a snow shovel, that was nice. Coming back soon.

The highlight of my trip!
My stay at the Trillium Cottage was wonderful. I especially appreciated being able to bring my 2 dogs along to enjoy beautiful Hocking Hills. The cottage was clean and cozy and the staff made me feel so welcome, beginning weeks before my trip, and continuing throughout my stay. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer! Can't wait to come back!

A Little Bit of Heaven
This was our second visit to the Inn, and while the yurt we stayed in our first time was cozy and comfortable, our rescue dog was accompanying us this time around. He absolutely LOVED his home away from home with us this past week, and so did we. We will definitely be back again. The Inn makes a great base for exploring the area. Kindred Spirits makes wonderful breakfasts! We also tried dinner there upon arrival, and even my picky-eater hubby was well pleased with his meal. Trillium Cottage was a little bit of heaven for us.

We enjoyed our stay at Trillium cottage. Everything was perfect, the bed was very comfortable, view/location was peaceful and appreciated all the amenities in the cottage. Looking forward to our next stay.

Family Weekend

Another Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonderful time. The Trillium Cottage is adorable- such a peaceful setting. It was so clean and inviting. Our dinner and breakfast were delicious. The clams appetizer will be talked about for days…. But the best part was the staff- everyone was so nice and knowledgeable. The kindness we received was exceptional and made the trip memorable.

Birthday celebration Average
We spent two nights to celebrate a birthday. We always bring our dog who loves to sleep in the sun on the back porch. We dined at Kindred Spirits for dinner and breakfast and as always excellent food and service. The gift shop is always fun and worth a trip. And of course the surrounding nature is a gift to enjoy.
