Liberty Lodge is an off-property lodge in Rockbridge, just a 24-minute drive from The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls, including Kindred Spirits, the spa and the gift shop. Located in the northern portion of the Hocking Hills, Liberty Lodge provides convenient access to area attractions, with most trails only 3 - 25 minutes away by car with Cantwell Cliffs being the closest. While each accommodation sits on it's own private lot, Liberty Lodge can be paired with Bison Lodge to keep larger groups close together.

Our family celebration of Marilyn's 90th birthday
We found the Lodge was immaculate and charming. Every amenity we needed was there. The directions and instructions were precise and easy to follow. We all had a delightful time within the lodge and visiting the surrounding sites of interest. The weather was marvelous and we all left with wonderful memories. We would certainly look forward to another stay if circumstances allow and I hope we left it in as good a condition as when we arrived.

Great Experience with Entire Family
Liberty Lodge was beautiful and spacious. It accommodated our large family with extra space. Was very clean and comfortable. While we wished the pool was completed, it still was a great time for the whole family with the hot tub and downstairs recreation room.

Fantastic Stay at Liberty Lodge
This space was perfect for our group, especially with two large meeting areas upstairs and downstairs. The large kitchen let us make large meals, and we had a great time overall!

Great stay!
The dishwasher was leaking when ran, but apart from that, everything was perfect. Great spot to stay. I liked that Cantwell Cliffs was nearly next door.

Annual family Christmas celebration
Was an amazing property. Lots of comfy beds, quality towels and all the necessary amenities. Internet was spotty which made watching football difficult. Definitely need some outdoor lights. Even some solar lights along the path to parking would be helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Beautiful cabin! Perfect for our family trip. We had a blast with the basement game room. And thoroughly enjoyed the hiking nearby. Looking at planning a family Thanksgiving next year! Will definitely stay again.

7/11/34 -7/14/24 stay
The Liberty Lodge was perfect for our gathering. We’ve met once per year for over 20 years and this lodge has the best layout for our group. The bedroom options worked well for our mixture of families with and without kids. The big yard was a great bonus for our active group and we enjoyed several wiffle ball games. The ping pong table and pool table were great and were used lot as well. The lodge was very clean and well equipped!

4 Gen Family Vacation
We really enjoyed our stay. The lodge is beautiful, clean, and has a lot of spacious bedrooms and family time space. We found fun local activities and enjoyed games at the lodge. Also, what a great view of the June “strawberry moon”! The only thing I would note is that the stairs are a bit steep (for anyone with mobility issues) - this includes stairs leading to the porch and in the interior of the house; and the master bath has no handrail. Also, if you have toddlers, bring something to block the staircases. The back decks are fully enclosed which was great, so no worries for little ones there. (Note to Lodge caretakers - take a look at the refrigerator; the flap on the left door does not attach properly at the top unless you fix it by hand which lets the cold air seep out and spoils the milk. Should be a simple thing to fix.) Thanks for the quick responses to questions. We had a fabulous time. I would recommend the property to others!

Reunion at Liberty Lodge
We celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary with our family. Liberty Lodge was great. We had a wonderful time with our family at the lodge and they had opportunities to enjoy the hiking trails in Hocking Hills.

Great Time with large group

Liberty Lodge was the perfect place for our gathering! The house very nice and was clean, well maintained, had lots of space to hang out and had a great yard! We had no complaints at all and would definitely rent again.

This lodge was amazing for my family & friend’s weekend getaway. It was so spacious. The hot tub was awesome. Everyone had a great time and we would definitely stay here again.
