1. Hocking Hills State Park
Hocking Hills State Park is the most popular attraction in Logan, OH. This state park features more than 25 miles of Hocking Hills hiking trails, which lead to beautiful destinations! Cedar Falls and Cantwell Cliffs are a couple of our favorite destinations within the park.
Cedar Falls is one of the most magical sights in Hocking Hills State Park! This 50-foot cascade is the largest, by water volume, in the region. The hike to Cedar Falls is only half a mile long. Out-and-back, the hike usually takes about an hour; although we recommend spending some time at the falls before you head back!
Cantwell Cliffs is another great adventure in Hocking Hills State Park! It’s one of the lesser-trafficked trails in the park, so it’s great for some time alone with nature. The trek to Cantwell Cliffs is a bit more challenging than other hikes, so practice caution during your journey through the forest.
2. Hocking River
The Hocking River is another fantastic place for outdoor recreation in Logan, OH. During the warmer months, it’s the ideal destination for fishing, river tubing, or canoeing in the Hocking Hills!
3. Experiencing Olde Dutch

Open Daily at 11 AM, Ohio has a large Amish community and Olde Dutch is known for its Amish style food, serving hearty meals that bring comfort to your soul and charging reasonable prices while doing so!
4. Supporting Local Artists at Delmatto Glass
Location: 32201 Logan Horns Mill Road
This part of Ohio has a long history of glassmaking and local artist Nick Delmatto has been a part of that world for over 5 decades. Famed for his glassblowing skills, the work he creates is magical and will add a touch of color and glass to your home décor.
5. Look to the Stars at John Glenn Astronomy Park
Location: 20531 OH-664 Scenic
Hometown boy done good, John Glenn, was an integral part of the space race and this lovely park celebrates and honors the man who was also an Ohio senator in his later years. Offering exciting space programs and some of the best stargazing in the Hocking Hills on weekends, March through Thanksgiving, and their fight against light pollution will ensure that, as long as the weather is good, you will have a stellar view of the stars and even some planets at the John Glenn Astronomy Park. They don’t provide telescopes for the public, but guests are free to bring their own, and on the darkest of nights, telescopes won’t be necessary.

6. 58 West
Location: 58 West Logan Street, Open Daily at 11 AM
We love over achievers of any sort, but especially restaurants that carry that quality and 56 West is definitely one such establishment. Offering elevated meals that are reasonably priced, while serving as a winery, brewery, AND a distillery, the food and drink served here are a delight for the senses.
7. Pizza Crossing
Location: 58 N Mulberry Street, Open Daily at 11 AM
Pizza is the international language of food and the pies served at Pizza Crossing never fail to please, prepared with farm fresh ingredients and an old country flair, making this restaurant the best pizzeria in the state.

8. Explore History at the Columbus Washboard Company
Location: 4 E Main Street
Once upon a time in America, clothing was washed by rubbing it against a wood and aluminum washboard and Ohio was one of the top manufacturers at that time, and today, the Columbus Washboard Company is the only such business still open. Serving as both a museum that pays homage to the history of washboards and a factory that yes, still manufactures the simple pieces, exploring the footprint of this fun place is one of our favorite things to do in Logan, Ohio, and one of the best places to learn more about the area's history.
